Why can't I post, view attachments, edit my profile, subscribe to threads etc., even though I'm registered?

Your account is awaiting email confirmation. Please click the activation link in the email you were sent, or click here to resend the activation email. If you did not receive the email then it's possible it was blocked by your email server/client. (AOL Users skip to step 2) In this case you can either:

1: Check your spam/junk folder (attn: Hotmail/MSN users) Certain email servers like Hotmail MSN filter emails from Playmoboard to the spam/junk folder and other times completely block them. Check your spam/junk settings so that email routed to these folders isn't automatically deleted. Resend the activation email after you adjust your spam/junk settings. If you are still having problems, go to your profile and change your registration email to something else like a yahoo address.

2: If you still do not receive the activation email, it is possible that the email is being blocked by your server (for example, AOL) In this case you may enter an alternate email address (ex: @yahoo or @gmail) in your profile. Simply enter your password (leave the edit password fields blank) and enter the alternate email address in both fields, click 'Save Changes' and the activation email will be automatically sent to the new address.

 

I can't register with any username I choose because it's already taken, what's the deal?

It's a bug in the forum software and some people can't register easily. Let me know what username you would like to register with if it isn't already in the memberlist and I will help you out. Click the link at the bottom of the page to email me.

 

The chat isn't working for me, am I doing something wrong?

Playmochat is a Flash based chat room which requires Adobe Flash Player to run. The chat takes a bit to load depending on your connection, but you must have the Flash Player installed.

 

Can you send me the building plans for set XXXX?

The fastest and most effective way to find building plans is to request them in the right forum on the board.

 

Where can I find spare parts?

Can you or the members of the board tell me how much a set is worth?

We can, but it will most likely not be an accurate appraisal. Different people value things differently and the best way to get a good estimate is to check the completed auctions on eBay.

 

Can you sell me Playmobil® or send me a catalog?

No, Playmoboard is not a toy store or a wholesaler.

 

Why can't I access the forum or the website?

Because it is down. It will be up again ASAP.

 

I don't like my username anymore, can I change it?

Yes, just let me know what you want to change it to if it isn't already in the member list. You will also need to note in your signature for several months who you were previously to avoid any confusion.

 

Where can I buy playmobil® online?

I would suggest checking the board for member recommended online toy shops.
